I agree with Bloodsword. Winning is only secondary. I love the whole social aspect of this game. Which is why poor sports and whinny kids really get to me. Other than that this game is fantastic stress relief.
I also enjoy the aspect of team builidng more than play. I love putting together my all time favorites on the same team. Regardless of the universe, or whether there heroes and villians. Rules that prohibbit this annoy me, though I understand why some people feel that they're necessary.
I agree with Billy Jack. I think that most people that I play against will agree that I am a much better team builder than strategist. I win frequently and all that, but I like the psychological aspect before the die even start to roll. All the What ifs? and looking at all the angles.
Last night just happened to be the first time something like that happened where i was actually able to get double pts and all that. Pretty exciting.
Watching someone you're teaching to play when it just "clix". When you know you hooked 'em and now you've got someone else to play with. Got my Pops, just like M:T.G.
I'm your huckleberry.
I will not fear, fear is the mind killer.
He who kills with his gun has forgotten the face of his father.
I have been slowly wearing my Dad down for the last year and a half. I even went so far as to glue an extra Superman onto his dashboard, sort of like those little Hula dancers. He will now tolerate it in conversation. Next is the introduction to maps.....

No it doesnt. You can learn from it. As long as you pay attention to what happened, and what mistakes you made.
Also what your opponent did to defeat you.
