I saw the Marquee thread, but mine is more specific. I pulled Veteran Diablo, Experienced Selene, and Experienced Calypso. When an opponent saw that, he declared me the winner.
Thankfully, he was right. Did these figs break anyone else's Marquee wide open?
I had V-Calypso, E-Selene, and E-Diablo on my team, as well as an E-Umar. Unfortunately, in the two games I lost, I went all out on one attack. I figured I was safe considering I only needed 6 or 7 to hit and I had Calypso, but my dice did not cooperate.

Vet Nebula outshinned Diablo for me. Being able to shut down 2 opposing figures or deal 4 damage to 1 was devastating. Not to mention most figures are below her point value. Had her surrounded by fig's with toughness to eat up the damage she took.
Black Queen/Selene definately played a big part in making things happen.
not really, BQ/selene were more of annoyances late game, and i only faced 1 E diablo, which nova rocked promptly w/ her 10 range and RCE . the other thing was that the real key pieces in the marquees i went to were V nebula and E/V umar, 10 range w/ a 10/11 attacks w/ RCE are killer. plus the fact that they have high def and nebula has mastermind, that makes them last very long (i faced one guy that was pushing nebula to no bounds, i beat him pretty bad ). the other key pieces in the marquee were tie up pieces such as moonknight, daredevil, and elektra, they are going on most of my teams now .
V Diablo kicked some serious tail at my Marquee. I was extremely dubious about using him, and I still doubt that I'll ever use him in a constructed game, but he was the man this weekend. I had a V Umar watching his back, and she performed very well, also, but Diablo was a wrecking machine. Another surprisingly useful piece was the E Angel, as I was able to use his running shot to knock a few pieces off their best clicks up front, and later sacrificed him to slow down some ground pounders while my ranged attackers regrouped.
I didn't see a single Black Queen/Selene at my marquee, mostly because no one pulled her.
I had success with both Diablo and Kraven on my team. Potent. Selene proved hard to kill...and no doubt her TK would have been handy to have.
I was surprised that the bricks in the set didn't perform better in any of the games I saw/played in...but the generally low D's left them wide open to Outwit + Ranged Attacks.
I once used the X-Men Team Ability and Soaring IN THE SAME TURN to win a Battle Royale, like a BOSS.
Diablo is one of the best draft figures ever. His poison is great, his high DV and willpower are awesome, and he keeps 3 damage for a while with Outwit. He is an awesome piece all around and won me a marquee.
