The team ability one's are getting old.

I agree....I have some cool ones I'd like to use. I thought at Silver Donor status I got the option to upload them, but apprently not.

I also agree as does my girlfriend. I completely understand the need for donations so that this site can continue to bring us the daily excellence that it does, but we all would have a great deal more individuality and fun if we could personalize this a little more. Has HC REALMS considered getting sponsors? Personally, I wouldn't mind a few pop-ups here and there if I could have the cool SILVER SURFER avatar that I had waiting to use when they said all you had to do was post 30+ times. After all, I'm pretty sure that most of us bankroll a good portion of the old paycheck to make a $30 (I think) donation every year. Please someone agree with me!

Maybe when The Power Cosmic TA hits the game we will have an Avatar worthy of us.

I sure hope so, Beyonder, I sure hope so. Although, they haven't updated the site to include the INDY avatars, so I'm not keeping my fingers crossed about the Power cosmic TA avatar. (AND YES, I KNOW INDY WAS QUITE A FAILURE AS A SET, even though I myself liked it)

Under the Avatar "More info" link it says

"If you have more than 30 posts, you may also specify your own custom avatar."

I'm pretty sure I've posted over 30 times, so I don't think this works...

No, they have changed that now. Unfortunately you have to donate money to them if you want to be an individual around here. In case you haven't noticed, the people with custom avatars have ______donor under their name. You have to be AT LEAST a gold donor member before they'll let you be yourself. GOLD DONOR MEMBERS PAY $30 DOLLARS A YEAR TO BE A MEMBER!!!!!!!!!!! and as far as I know, that's the only perk you get for donating your hard earned cash. Personally I can't justify the expense.
