The duo of JackAssterson and discombobulous proudly bring you the continuing tournament of some of the greatest (and not so) wrestlers of all time.
In the style of DTM's tournaments, we ask that you vote for the man you think will win, along with a short reason as to why.
Remember: It is to be assumed that all wrestlers are performing in their prime.
On with the show!
One one side of the ring is the self-proclaimed 'most electrifying man in sports-entertainment.' That's right, it's none other than the people's champion, The Rock. Rocky is no stranger to winning the big match, though some may argue some of his best bouts were one is which he lost. Could that affect him here?
His opponent is a force to be reckoned with, and also is a man who invents his own words. The Ultimate Warrior! A man who was able to defeat Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania 6 and also posesses a seemingly endless amount of destrucity.
stipulation:
last man standing
round 1:
Jake "The Snake" vs. The Big Show (Jake "The Snake")
HHH vs. Rowdy Roddy Piper (HHH)
Owen Hart vs. Jeff Jarrett (Owen Hart)
Shane Douglas vs. Steve Austin (Steve Austin)
Hulk Hogan vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. (Rey Mysterio Jr.)
Scott Steiner vs. Andre the Giant (Andre the Giant)
Ultimate Warrior vs. The Rock (?????)

Let's go Havok!
This to me is one of the better matches that I've seen yet. So many people dog the Warrior but he has done things that few other wrestlers have. He fairly and convincingly beat Hogan in his prime for a World Title. He consistently beat Andre in under 30 seconds. Convincingly beat Undertaker time and time again. "Retired" Randy Savage in one of Savage's best matches ever. On the other side you have The Rock. One of my personal favorites. He has done it all and amongst everyone I know the only knock they have against him is that he won't stick around and keeps running to Hollywood. This match comes down to 2 things. 1. In a Last Man Standing, many underhanded things can and would usually happen. As Warrior proved in his match with "Hollywood" Hogan in WCW, he is not used to the more Hardcore aspect of the sport. He never had to be. The Rock can throw down in any style, any way. If this were a straight up match, I might give it to the Warrior. But here, the Rock wouldn't give Warrior a chance to reach the ropes. When he had him down he would be like a shark smelling blood and even harder go for the kill. The second reason is both men depend on the fans. "The Little Warriors" versus "The Millions". The Millions would definitely be more prevalent on this one.
Match: Unholy long. Match would for number one contender for Triple H's World Title. With both men outside the ring and exhausted, HHH and Evolution would ambush both men. Warrior would hulk up and fight them off wanting to end the injustice. Rock, keeping his eye on the prize, would wait in the stance behind him and as Warrior started his Gorilla Press taunt and turned around ROCK BOTTOM!! One, two, three! Rock would go on to face Triple H again leading WWE to want to throw a third, fourth, and fifth man into their title match, and Warrior would feud with Randy Orton over the injustice and another chance at the IC Title.
Winner: The Rock.

The Rock would have never beaten Hogan in his prime, not even when Rock was in his best. Now as for The Warrior he did. Rock would never beat half the people The Warrior did in his prime. Like Savage.

The Rock can work the mike like crazy, has lots of charisma, and an awesome tattoo to boot! However, the Warrior's get-up-and-go never gets-up-and-leaves from what I've seen of him.
Warrior would be the last man standing because he's a never-ending fountain of ring-shaking energy!
I have to give this one to Warrior.
Hey Hey we're The Monkees...Friends! Romans! Countrymen! Lend me your STARBUCKS! Once more unto the Stargate, dear friends. For Tom Servo! For the Horde! Who you gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS! Go Team Venture!
I'm gonna go with Rocky. This fight reminds me of the 'Batman vs. Captain America' threads. It's quite simple, The Rock, like Batman, would win any we he could.
The Rock always has had it all over the Warrior and always will. Rock has more will, INFINITELY more brains, more charisma, more ability, better stamina, better everything.
Rock all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
