Sure, he's a bit expensive, but Telekinesis is now a must-have for any team, and Outwit is probably the best power out there. Granted, he's no Magog, but personally I think he definitely has his uses. Anybody agree?

Gulyadkin Victims List: Spider-Man (ASM 001b), Green Goblin (M10A 004).
Black Panther R (IC) Mjolnir Attempts: 2 for 2! HE IS WORTHY!
I think he's a great figure for his point cost. TK to get people into position, outwit, super strength, l/c, and then mastermind to get back to the medic.
"Because sometimes the truth isn't good enough. Sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes, people deserve to have their faith rewarded."
he is a definate boon for any heavy hitter without charge or runningshot. He can outwit and then TK that sucker right in the other brick's face.
He is a good second stringer fighter. Stays back and lets the big ones fight while he outwits and guards your support. Then when the opponent is on his last legs... he can leap/climb his monkey butt in.
Of course, I have a soft spot for him being that he's the first supervillian ever. Back in Action comics #14. First supervillain of the first superhero.. Superman. That's gotta count for something.

Doesn't the eagle need both to fly?
He's definitely a very nice and versatile figure. But if you want to optimize your army, you can generally achieve the same thing (ie, TK and Outwit) for fewer points. E.g. (R Mandroid/R Jean Grey/R Johnny Alpha/R Cosmic Boy) + (R Black Panther/R Braniac 5).
The 2 clicks of identical stats (other than damage) and powers make him a great fig.
Use TK twice, Leap/Climb over and use TK, a little Outwit backup plus toughness make him/her a tough little figure.
These powers also make the Ultrahumanite a great leader for a badguy force. He can support his pals - L/C and Super-Strength for the yoink, Outwit, Tk, and easily getting back to a medic means he can return to menace our heroes again - just like a great super-villian should do.

That's true, but if you are only playing DC the cost is about the same. Cosmic Boy is about 45 points, and rookie Braniac 5 is 40. They can fly, but the only real alternate benefit to these characters is the wildcard team. They are really one trick ponies, and cannot take any punishment.
Ultrahumanite on the other hand, has both of their signature abilities, and can even act as a backup close combat brawler. Plus the Leap/Climb is great for getting back to the medic. Most of the time, Cosmic Boy and Braniac will never make it.
I think Ultrahumanite is probably one of the most underrated figures in the set, and goes nice with Black Adam.

When's the last time you were able to utilize Jean Grey and Black Panther as more than one trick ponies? Ultra-H can Tk someone out and unlike Jean or Cosmic Tool he can then actually do something for the points you paid.
I will make an Ultra-H team that works.

I'm not particularly impressed with Ultrahumanite's (AV) which is a mere (9); add the fact that he's 80-pts and his value diminishes in my opinion.
Brainiac-5 (V) is 58-pts.; with him you get flight, outwit and of course he has the [Wildcard] symbol.
I'd prefer to use Lobster Johnson (V) from the "INDY" set.
Both he and Brainiac-5 are a stealth teams' worst enemy with the Superman symbol on the board.

Actually... If you don't use R-BP he can be more than a 1 trick pony with his BCF.. infact he makes a wonderful support piece for a flier. Have him out with the #### out of peps, and then on the next turn BCF.. good combo...
And Jean.. she's a staple of all my teams.. keep her on that first click and use her support is a must!

Johny Alpha is still my premiere "expensive" TKer ... but Ultra Humanite comes close, simply because of the overall package he brings. Definetly good with some HSS on the side.
Third Place Winner, Boneyards Contest. Huzzzah!
Finallly, Guy Gardner has Arrived in the world of Heroclix! Galactus, Fin Fan Foom, and Spectre beware!
Ultrhumanite is a great figure. Yes, you can use R Jean and R BP for less points, but UH has many more options. Also, remember that his TK is great for tossing figs into the fray, but put an object next to him and he now has a range of 10 with his decent AV of 9! He also lives 8 clicks for 80 points.
He'll be a sought after figure in the Marquee. I know, most every Unique will be, but he's one of only three figs in UL with front end Outwit (Batman, REV Braniac 5 - technically 5, but w/e). That plus affordable TK (less than any of the Green Lanterns, useful unlike Maxima and Barda, and front end again unlike Shade) makes him a very good commodity.
TB - use him to win a Hal Jordan, and sell it to me. Pwease. wub u if u doo.
No super booster purchases til the Thanos-copter is confirmed
Also that leep climb paired with his ability to be a carryable fig makes him important for getting positioned correctly. And then flying bricks can fast ball special their opponents (I know, stop using marvel in a DC strategy thread)
"Oh I see. You are here to return the Hulk melon Baller."

Ultrahumanite, is sure a very solid and versitile figure. Sure he has no stealth, which makes him a huge target, but thanks to that leap and climp, he's a premire TK'r, he can easily tk one figure into battle, then leap and climb his way to another figure.
Ultrahumanite is definitely a viable figure. Yes you can get outwit and tk for cheaper, but look a little closer. B Panther has one click (at least on his E and V versions, I can't remember his V). This means you can't push him to reposition your outwit. It also means that R Jessie Quick can take out his outwit easily. Not only does ultrahumanite have two clicks of outwit, he has toughness to protect him as well. His leap and climb gives you the mobility to position your outwit and tk where needed in battle. I have gotten rid of many a Black Panther's outwit by basing him with cheap figures like R doc oc and then smacking him when he couldn't break away. Heck, a thug can base Panther and block his LOS. Outwit is only useful if you can get LOS to the figure you want to outwit. In addition, Mastermind on Ultrahumanite's last three clicks helps him survive when he's hurting.
