I have been wondering who would win in certain universe crossovers. This is a matter of opinion, and has nothing to do with heroclix, just comics. Please ignore the stupid names:

The Fighting Vigilantes: Batman vs. Punisher
Batman Pros: He has more experience in hand to hand combat and has better equipment.
Punisher Pros: He's not afraid to kill.

Well, if you've read JLA/Avengers #1... let's just say I agree with what happened between Batman and Punisher there...

Everytime they've ever encountered each other, Batman has handled him pretty easily.

Batsy. Punisher has a strong will to survive and not die, but Batman isn't trying to kill him now is he?

Bats and heres why in the cross over punisher nailed bats with a blow and bats said I let you have that castle, when castle went for a second he found himslef flung intoin the garabage of the alley way bats replied you only get one!

now we have to understand punisher is a killer and the times he and bats have faced off, punisher is not trying to kill bats in fact punisher dosent belive in killing heros, he always tries to elude them. So if he went crazy and tried to kill bats who knows!

however bats has handeled whole gangs of thugs with any type of weapon avalible, and hes even survied battles against gods, monsters kryptonians you name it.

So ya gotta go with the bat, but respect that punisher is at a huge disadvantge because he wont kill a hero.

So we have a guy who is highly skilled in armed combat against a guy who has made a lifetime career out of consistently and definitely beating guys who are experts in armed combat....

This isn't close. Batman trounces him.

I hate to prove you wrong Thugit, But Frank has bested Jean Paul Valley wearing the mantle of the Bat which made him Batman at the time. Otherwise I agree and say Batman (Bruce Wayne) but I wont mark out for the Dark Knight and say it would be easy.

it also depends on whos going after whom. If Frank was going after Batman, he still might lose but Bats would never fight crime again. If Bats was going after Frank he'd be in even more trouble. Frank doesn't kill because he wants to. He kills because like Batman he has a psychological prediliction toward justice. Frank would claw and bite to beat Bats.

So before you bow before the mighty Bat, know he'd only beat him by a hair.... a little hair.

Busiek has no respect for Punisher therefore he was bested by Batman without so much as a panaled fight. But I say in a world were heros ARE aging (Marvel) the late 50's Frank would fall to the younger Batman. Give Frank some credit... he's got it where Batman doesn't... his villains dont come back very often, making Frank the better hero. His villains dont live to kill or harm others again, which by my definition is more important than some holier than thou crusade playing the same game time and time again with murderous villains.

Batman could learn a lot from Frank.
