As part of the BlizzCon event, Upper Deck is previewing the WoW Minis game (as previously mentioned). Part of the preview is that all attendants of the convention are allowed to purchase 1x Starter Set and 1x Booster Box ... so of course I bought some (and got 1x Booster Box for the site to preview) and here are the spoils:
Typhon here ... reporting live from BlizzCon. Outside of the general excitement about all things "Blizzard" (or Activision Blizzard as they are now called), let's just dive straight into the real star of WoWRealms: The World of Warcraft Miniatures Game!
Ok; first impressions time: AWESOME! And unless Monsterpocolypse surprises me, I think that Upper Deck has a shoe-in for CMG of the Year. I'm not going to say that it's perfect; because it's not ... but it does come awfully close. More on it's downfall later though; let's shower it with praises first.

William recently previewed three new Traitor spells from the Black Temple raid deck on wowtcg. Today, I’d like to briefly talk about the other six and how they might fit into the current environment. This isn’t going to be very in depth. I really just wanted to get pictures of the new cards out to you since some people haven’t had the chance to visit their local game shop to purchase the new Raid decks. But maybe you pick something up that will help you win Worlds in October or the Realms Championship in November.
We will have all the Black Temple cards in the database sometime today. But while you wait for that, click Full Story and check out some of the new cards!
Lots of groovy stuff happened today! Hot off the heals for the DMF review last week, UDE followed up with a cool Black Temple preview today. I will be the first to admit that I was some pissed when I got 'Rick Rolled' by Mr Tay Zonday earlier but thankfully it was just some misguided joke pulled by Ryan. Later on in the day we "moved away from the mike" and had our breath taken away by this guy:
We also got to see the new Battlegrounds program that features the new Badges of Justice!
Hey guys Christian here and I’m back to share my Gen-con experience with you guys! Well, continentals did not go the way I was hoping at all, however I have a story to tell you about the block Dark Moon Faire I entered on Saturday. I played Kil’zin, and I have to be honest, it is just as fast in block as it is in standard. Our list was quite inferior compared to some due to the fact that we spent so much more time preparing for continentals as opposed to the Dark Moon Faire.
